Weaponry
The Vorpal Fork
• Equivalent To: The Vorpal Blade
• Found In: BurtonDead, The Church (Victor's Wonderland)/Vale of Tears, Duchess's Kitchen (Alice's Wonderland)
• Look: Large, elongated barbeque fork with three extra-sharp tines, a sharpened left edge, and a wooden handle, with etched vines curling around the metal shaft and butterflies carved into the handle
• Hysteria: Tines are dripping red blood, with another splash of same on the shaft; handle is wrapped in grimy white bandages
• Attacks: Downward stab, sideways stab, diagonal slash; as it upgrades, Victor performs these more fluidly and with more flourish
• Limitations: Close-range weapon – using it increases chances of getting hit by enemies
• Upgrades:
1: Slash trail is a smoky grey
2: Slash trail is a bright blue
3: Slash trail is a sickly green
4: Slash trail is a sharp red
• DLC: The Vorpal Short Sword – a shorter (about the length of the Vorpal Fork) version of Tim Burton’s Vorpal Sword, with an elegant silver and green crystal handle and a silver blade with etchings and white gemstones running down the middle; doubles Victor’s damage
The Grim Scythe
• Equivalent To: The Hobby Horse
• Found In: The Magic Tower, Floor 2: Necromancy (Victor's Wonderland)/Deluded Depths, Dreary Lane Theater (Alice's Wonderland)
• Look: Large Grim Reaper-style scythe with both inside and outside edges sharpened
• Hysteria: Ghostly, translucent blade, battered and splintered wooden handle
• Attacks: Upward slash, sideways slash, diagonal slash, spin attack; as it upgrades, Victor performs theses more fluidly, learning the spin attack around level 3
• Limitations: Close-range weapon; slower to use than the Vorpal Fork
• Upgrades:
1: Basic scythe, plain metal blade, wooden handle
2: Red-tinted metal blade with a skull etching, bright blue handle with wormholes
3: Bone-like blade, skeletal handle that looks like a spine
4: Mirror-like blade with sickly green glow, black handle that appears to be living shadow
• DLC: The Executioner’s Scythe – a smaller copy of the scythe the Executioner in Queensland carries, with a red and black-striped pole, a golden spiky “cuff” just beneath the blade, and a long, notched metal blade; one-hit-kills most enemies
The Quill Bow
• Equivalent To: The Teapot Cannon
• Found In: Sketchbook World (Victor's Wonderland)/Mysterious East (Alice's Wonderland)
• Look: Large origami paper bow with a string that looks like a line of ink; the projectiles are writing quills with long curled feathers
• Hysteria: Quills are ragged with blood splatters on remaining feathers; bow is a tightly-wound length of bandage with a line of blood for the string
• Attacks: Shoots quills at targeted enemies; Victor can either pluck the string quickly for relatively rapid-fire shots, or pull it back to “charge” a shot and make it go farther
• Limitations: Has a limited number of shots – a quiver symbol in the top right corner indicates how many are left before you have to wait and let it “reload;” number of shots goes up with each upgrade; charged shots eat up more “arrows”
• Upgrades:
1: White paper bow, string of black ink; quills are white; 4-6 shots
2: Blue paper bow with geometric line designs, string of dark blue ink; quills are light blue; 6-9 shots
3: Green paper bow with curlicues, string of dark green ink; quills are light green and make a distinct hissing noise when fired; 9-12 shots
4: Black paper bow with blue butterflies, string of blood red ink; quills are black and make a flapping sound like a flock of ravens when fired; 12-15 shots
• DLC: The Flutterby Crossbow – a blue crossbow with a handle of worm-eaten wood and a bow that’s shaped something like a butterfly with its forewings pulled slightly back onto its hindwings, bright white string, shoots glowing white quills; has double the top ammo of the Quill Bow
The Wedding Wine
• Equivalent To: The Pepper Grinder
• Found In: BurtonDead, The Church (taken from Ruined Barkis) (Victor's Wonderland)/Vale of Doom, Hare's Old Tea Table (Alice's Wonderland)
• Look: A slightly larger version of the Wine of Ages bottle – deep red, with a cracked skull design on one side – with what looks like a golden goblet attached to the base; the bottom of the goblet acts as a plunger and can be pushed in to spray the wine
• Hysteria: Red-tinted glass bottle that looks like it’s been shattered, with small pieces missing here and there; goblet plunger is also shattered glass and makes a crunching sound when pushed in
• Attacks: Sprays poisoned wine at enemies; as it upgrades the poison goes farther and gets more powerful
• Limitations: Has a limited amount of juice – a bottle symbol in the top right corner shows how much is left until it’s drained and needs to “refill;” time needed to empty the bottle goes up as it upgrades
• Upgrades:
1: Bottle is red all over with a dull finish; goblet plunger is golden; wine is dark
red in color
2: Bottle is blue with a white skull and a pitted, hairline-cracked finish; plunger is purple with greenish tarnish; wine is deep blue
3: Bottle is green with a sickly yellow skull and a more polished finish; plunger is shining silver with small green gems set around the bottom of the cup and into the circular decoration on the stem, wine is brilliant green
4: Bottle is black with a glowing orange skull with red eyes and a glossy, almost mirror-like finish; plunger is skeletal white, with the “cup” looking like part of a skull, finger bones for the stem, and another piece of skull for the base, and a golden wedding ring for the circular decoration; wine is deep purple
• DLC: The Ball & Socket Beer – A large white bottle with a shorter brown spout and an image of Paul the Headwaiter’s head on the side, matte finish, plunger is a dull grey metal cup with a stem made to look like cockroaches, beer is light brown; health regenerates with every enemy killed (can be combined with other weapons, but Beer must be used for the finishing blow)
The Sketchbook
• Equivalent To: The Umbrella
• Found In: Sketchbook World, Inkline Village (Victor's Wonderland)/Hatter's Domain, Lost & Found (Alice's Wonderland)
• Look: Oversized sketchbook with brown leather covers, a deep grey spine, and clean white pages
• Attacks: When opened, can stop any projectiles thrown at Victor; flipping the pages from one side to the other allows it to deflect projectiles back to the thrower
• Limitations: Defensive only
• Upgrades: None

The Altar Candle
• Equivalent To: The Clockwork Bomb
• Found In: BurtonDead, Everglot Mansion (Victor's Wonderland)/Queensland, Heart Palace (Alice's Wonderland)
• Look: A tall white taper candle in a squat golden candlestick. When lit, the flame on top flickers rapidly as the wax melts
• Attacks: Victor places the candle on the ground and lights it. When lit, the candle melts down to the candlestick – and then explodes in a small burst of flame. The explosion can bust open breakable walls. It also injures nearby enemies, setting them on fire for a few moments
• Limitations: Only one can be placed at a time; doesn’t do much damage
• Upgrades: None

○ Visual Effect: Skin turns red, pupils turn red, hair becomes disheveled, claws grow on fingers, short spiky horns grow on forehead, red devil tail grows from tailbone, red aura

● Darkened Looking-Glass:
○ Visual Effect: Body turns invisible with vague “glassy” texture to show player where he is
○ Grants: Invisibility (duh) – enemies ignore him completely until he pops back in
● Shrinking and Shrink Sense:
○ Visual Effect: Victor becomes much smaller, world is tinted a bright purple, purple images show up on surfaces that offer hints on story or where to go

○ Visual Effect: New outfit – white suit with black stitching along seams and blood splatters on bottom of jacket, white bandage tie stained with blood, fire symbol (triangle) tie clip, white waistcoat with bloodstains, white shirt, black shoes; whites of eyes turn red, blood “flows” from eyes down cheeks, blood “flows” from neck (as if it were cut) staining tie and top of waistcoat, hands drenched in blood
○ Grants: Greatly increased attack damage, invulnerability
● Dodge/Sprint:
○ Visual Effect: Victor explodes into a flock of blue and grey butterflies, quickly traveling to a new spot
○ Grants: Invulnerability in butterfly state, quickened movement

○ Visual Effect: Victor coasts through the air, arms extended, as glowing white butterflies and flower petals (blue roses and white winter jasmine) swirl around and trail behind him
